Lowes Home Improvement stores has officially announced the opening of a new Port Orchard store in the winter of 2007, and city officials say the company started the application process last week. More details…

ROXBORO — A Lowe’s Home Improvement store is taking shape along U.S. 501 on the south side of town. Karen Cobb, spokeswoman for the Mooresville-based chain, said no specific opening date had been set, but that the timetable was sometime between now and January. More details…
